My Picture Book 1.2 is now available. New in this version:
– added a new album, “Colors”
– sound recording is now possible in the “Colors” and “Fruit & Vegetables” albums
Finally, the next version of My Picture Book is ready! It is now possible to add sounds to your own albums, among other things. It is available on the App Store today.
Only minutes after installing iOS 6.0.1 cellular usage was up 17 MB, in spite of being within wifi range. Very disappointing. Oh, well. Maybe next time.
The iOS app My Picture Book has been approved by Apple and will be available in the App Store on October 1. For more information, check out the product page.
Last night I decided to upgrade my iPhone 3GS to iOS 6.0 without waiting for reports on performance. Almost every update has caused battery drain issues, but I am pleased to find that this has not been an issue this time. Battery drain seems comparable to iOS 5.1.1. I have not noticed any speed issues either, on the contrary, ithe GUI seems much snappier than before. It makes me remember a time when 3GS was the fastest iPhone ever. 😉
I am sure there will be issues for some, but based on my experience, I’d say go for it.
